Visual Novel System

A visual novel package built to read data from a JSON file. Supports scalable event handling as well as conversation branching.

After completing my work on Lythe the Forgetful Witch, I was left with one, big question.

"How could I make this dialogue system more scalable?"

This package is my solution.

Lythe the Forgetful Witch

Dec 2023 - Jan 2026

A visual novel following the story of Lythe--a young witch who's forgotten how to use her magic powers.

As the sole engineer on this project, I was responsible for planning, designing, and implementing all systems. Some of the core functionality I created includes dynamically spawning images, calling animations, and saving data from event triggers stored in a JSON file.

Eternus

May 2022 - July 2022

A first-person survival horror game with a focus on stealth and puzzle solving.

Eternus was my very first project as a game developer. I worked on a 5 person team as an AI engineer where I was responsible for designing and implementing the enemy AI behavior. I also did some small amount of shader work.
